Waves his impatience
back through haze and gale
my forward shadow.

Hints of stinking fruits
wannabe petals submerged
in winter's chill brew.

Moment's fling with day
deep night returns
to sleep with the apples.

My water from seas
and mothers of histories
now … only waters.

Candle of lavender
and shadows borrowed from crows -
flesh-fired harmonies.

Devilish are days
and devilish more the trees
and nights without crows.

Crisp fertile night -
everywhere
the semen veil of fog.

A shallow in flannels -
lingering warmth
of her change of heart.

Moons and stars
pinned to dewy stones -
streetlamps for ants.

Imbolc rains -
varnished sidewalks
and populations of moons.

Finally, we meet -
that moon, these eyes, this puddle
then away.

My chilled
midwinter bones -
… and then, she brushes her hair.

just another day -

crawling deep
the rabbit hole;
the stretching wide of toes.

Shimmer and shadow -
those eternal envies
coveting chance edges.

Embedded clockwork stars
delight of insanities
birthed of our green dusts.

Creep of feudal talons;
Black, Logan and Rasp -
the serendipitous ecstasy of honeysuckles

So too breathes
so too dreams
the cat’s shadow.

Fragile light
thins shadows on thinner walls
brushed by crystal winds.

Words wept
written skeletal and kept -
fossilized moments, slept.

Intersecting threads of heart
harmonies from and to horizons
briefly plucked and bowed.

Old poet
returns his earth and dreams
to young trees.

Alone the hazed moon
boat and murky waters -
rows one heart in shadow.

Pocketed open wounds -
paper, pen
quarter, two nickels, a wrapper.

… and again,
rash untucked empathies
recoil of sinister drafts.

Hand - brow - heart
once thick of earths
pulled thin by years.

Ever-Child aflitter
skips to the next tarry -
but onward, onward the moon.
