Chasing the whispers
wandering through fingers
... of forest.

Paths of centuries
and the petal
... falls.

Now to forest path
away from crass paths
... who never oblige.

Dim emerald woods
a fae path traced in pebbles
wet of chance, of choice moments.

Tales woven in brambles
journeys among the mingling stars -
but no maps for the heart.

... and rain her tears
upon an enviable perch -
but passing crows ...

Finally, we meet -
that moon, these eyes, this puddle
then away.
